Vince Wilcox (Contributing Writer Fly Tyer Magazine) - As a professional fly tier and Signature Tier for Idylwilde Fly Co., I always have an eye out for new products to increase productivity and make life at the bench easier; the new material clip from Peak Fishing accomplishes both. When tying my Little Green Machine for instance, I incorporate wire, flash, and tubing during the construction of the fly and this clip holds all of the materials while allowing for smooth rotary action. With traditional material clips I have experienced them holding the materials in the clip until the vise rotates, then the materials fall out as they are rotated upside down.  Not with this one! The clip comes with two different size springs for holding tiny materials for midges and larger materials for bass and saltwater materials with ease. If you don't have one now you don't know what you are missing!

These are some images of Boy Scouts from Troop 77 in Georgia using the PEAK Rotary Vise.  They all tied flies and went right out to use them.  They were proud to use the PEAK Rotary Vise while working on their Fly Fishing Merit badges.

Bob S.- NY My vise came today and it's awesome! Thanks for great tool...

Paul P. - CO This is a real bargain given the quality and workmanship.

Cal L. - HI The vise is exquisite and very beautiful. Thank you for a great vise.

Brad L - CAN Great product! I've tied as small as #18's and haven't even had a chance to change to the midge jaws.

Donnovan M. - OR   I have been using your vise for about a month now and I really like it. Great product and I look forward to many years of enjoyment with it. See attached photo.

James R - BC I received the vise today. After unpacking it, I would have to say the reviews that I read were understated. It looks great.

Dennis S - CO I like the heavy, white, non-slip base with its recessed tray... I have been using the midge jaws and found them to be strong, positive and precise in addition to providing plenty of clearance around the entire hook.

Paul B - OR You guys did a great job designing a quality product at a reasonable price.

Barry R - CAN I received my vise, I am not sure how such a quality manufactured vise could be sold at this price, I feel that this vise, is a tremendous value... I tied about six hours, the base never moved, everything I wanted in a true rotary vise, was not only met, but exceeded all expectations I had.

Mark S. - MI I would recommend it to all in the market for an American, well made product in that price range; it rocks as the young would say.

Rob O - CAN This vise truly is a great example of quality materials put to use in the right places.

QC - NM  I am impressed and I've seen some good ones.

Patrick W. - TX   I just received your vise and it is a marvelous tool.  I really appreciate being able to tie left-handed without any adjusting.

Alan S. - IL  I am extremely pleased with the vise.  It holds hooks tenaciously and works very smoothly.  It is impressive that your company can make such a fine tool for such a reasonable price.

Bob S. - NY  I bought one of your vises about a year ago and I gotta tell you it is the best vise I have ever used!!! I tie flies from about size 12 down to size 22,24 and I can work with either size easily.  Thanks very for a great vise at a great price.  See attached photo of a steel head fly I tied.

Jeffrey S. - AZ  I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the fantastic products and customer service provided over the past year.  After having used the vice for a number of months I can report that its durability, quality and ease of use is beyond compare.  It speaks of elegance through simplicity.  Keep up the good work and thanks so much for providing products that represent true value in the market place.

Dan W. - W. VA  This vise has improved my tying significantly.  I figure this will be the only one I ever need.

Tim D. - IN   Dear sir, I recently purchased one of your vises from my favorite outdoor store Cabelas and I must say that for the price or for that matter  any price it is the best I have had the privilege to use, I've used my good friends Renzetti numerous times and was considering the purchase of one until I got to examine the Peak rotary vise up close on a recent trip to Florida as soon as I picked it up I had to have one, Thanks for making a great product that a working man can afford.

Bob E - VT  I have been really happy with the vise.  I have tied over 1000 flies and the pedestal base is rock solid!  Much more versatile than the Regal I started out on.

Dennis C. - CO  That's one terrific base - best I've seen on any vise.

Bill M. - CO   I really like tying on the PEAK. See attached photo of my pike fly on the PEAK.

Dan W. - PA  Between a great vise and superb customer service, I'm going to recommend PEAK for anyone seaching for a rotary vise.  I think I'm going to like this rotary vise thing.

Eric M. - WI   The PEAK vise is rock-steady. I upgraded from another vise which was a frustrating tie at best. Yesterday afternoon was an enjoyable tying session because of the quality vise. See my latestest fly below.

Keith M. - PA  I purchased a PEAK vise about a month ago and I love it!  Its a wonderful vise.  Attached is a photo of my first humpy.

Roddy S. - Ireland  This vice is exactly what I needed...thank you both for an excellent piece of equipment and a fantastic service!  See his review at

   UK Fly Dressing

W Mangum - TX  I took my PEAK Vise to the Caribbean this summer - not a bad fly tying bench, huh?  He has a great way to tie epoxy spoon flies which you can see at his site.
